Jeferson Martins Rodrigues, was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil. He was exposed in his early days to the writings of the Christian Gospels and spent many years of his life looking for ways to reach the Truth. In his searching, he found and read the works of John G. Bennett, Hasan Shushud and Nevit Ergin. He exchanged emails with Ergin for a number of years. With Ergin’s passing, he came to know Millicent Alexander, who gave him the opportunity to translate into Portuguese Ergin’s English translations of Rumi’s quatrains, as well as his commentaries on them. Martins Rodrigues lives in Contagem, Minas Gerais.
